Robin: From Flipping Cars to Forex IB at 19

Knew nothing about forex in January. Four months later, he had a system that runs on its own.

The starting point

Robin had an audience before he had a business model. He loves cars, has flipped a lot of them, and posts about them. Followers kept asking the same thing: how do you make your money?

The problem was that car flipping cannot be taught at scale. "You can't just go around and teach people to flip cars. It has to be your friend or something. It's not like a business."

He and Tobias knew each other from Instagram for around a year before they started working together, commenting on each other's stories. When they did start, Robin knew nothing about the industry. "I didn't know anything. I didn't even know how to take a trade on MetaTrader."

What changed

Forex gave Robin something he could actually hand to the people asking. He kept posting the cars and the lifestyle he was already known for, and added content about trading, the signal groups and the systems behind them.

"It was a new way to make money myself and also help others make money, and that feels good."

His first milestone came fast. He was introduced in one of BrokerAffiliation's "$100 a day" groups for new affiliates and reached his first $100 day on day three.

How he works today

Robin's workflow is simple because the heavy parts are automated:

  • Content: cars, lifestyle and trading, on his existing Instagram audience.
  • Telegram onboarding bot: "You just send them the bot. The bot helps them with everything. They set up their account and then they immediately get their group afterwards."
  • Mentors on call: he can ask the senior team anything. "They have scaled pretty much everyone. It's like having very good mentors."

Because onboarding runs on its own, his time goes into getting the message out rather than answering the same questions in DMs.

The results, in context

  • First $100 day: day three.
  • Best day so far: around $1,500 to $1,600, about four months in.
  • In the interview Tobias notes Robin has been able to pass the $30K month mark, after a warm-up period.

The framework Tobias uses with him: step one, get to $100 a day. Step two, make it consistent. Step three, $500 a day, then make that consistent. Some days go up, some go down. The work is making it consistent.

In his own words

"If you're going to start it yourself, it will be really hard to find the traders and make the systems yourself. When I started working with you, it was like getting everything handed to you, and you can just start pushing it out to people and start helping them immediately."

"What you're making money on is actually helping other people make money. They don't have to pay us anything."

"It's probably one of the easiest businesses to reach 10K a month. I would say everyone can do it, no matter how many followers you have."

Lessons you can apply

  1. Use the audience you already have. Robin did not start a new account. He added trading to the lifestyle content people already followed him for.
  2. Answer the question people already ask. "How do you make your money?" is a conversion opportunity if you have something real to hand over.
  3. Automate onboarding from day one. Sending a bot instead of answering every DM is what let him scale without burning out.
  4. Climb one step at a time. $100, then consistent, then $500. The first milestone builds the confidence to promote more.
  5. Plug into mentors. Removing the guesswork is what turns early results into a repeatable system.
