Adrian: From Network Marketing to Rebates
He put in the work in network marketing. The paycheck never reflected it. Rebates did.
At a glance
| Who | Adrian, from Tønsberg, Norway |
| Background | Network marketing, in a company similar to one Tobias was part of |
| Model | Free community, signals and mentorship, earning rebates |
| Stated change | From about 7-10% commission on what he sold to about 15-20% return on deposits |
The starting point
Network marketing went well for Adrian at first, then slowed down. "It's a very momentum-driven business. If you slack off, that's it, your business is dead."
The bigger problem was the split. "I felt like I was earning my company so much more than the piece of the cake I was getting. I put in so much work, so much sweat, tears, blood, and the paycheck didn't reflect my actions."
What changed
The biggest change was going from selling to giving. "When I was in network marketing, I sold products, and people automatically started in minus. They had to work themselves up from there."
Now he gives access to free signal groups, his community and his own mentorship without charging anything. The only thing a member needs is their own trading capital.
That changed the relationship with clients. When someone blows an account by ignoring the signal or risking too much, they come back and own it. "In network marketing, I am the one that's selling them."
It also changed how people share. "One guy on Facebook asked me if he was allowed to share my group with a colleague. That never happened to me in network marketing."
The numbers he shared
- In network marketing: about 7-10% commission on what he sold.
- With rebates: about 15-20% return on deposits.
Tobias adds context from across the network: with the same input of time and customers, they typically see two to five times more income once the sales resistance of a paid product is removed. Individual results vary widely.
How he builds today
- A trading community started with some of his own affiliates.
- A Telegram funnel where everybody knows exactly what to do.
- Events, meeting people and anything that brings traffic and is good for clients, as long as it is compliant.
- Signals as "a really good brace to support yourself on".
Client happiness is the strategy
"If you have even just one happy client, they can bring in a whole new network of people. If 90% of your clients are happy, your business will do good."

Tobias's view from the interview: if you are in network marketing now and already have customers trading, you are leaving money on the table without rebates. Everyone you start needs a broker anyway. Without your own link, they Google "best forex broker" and land on someone else's affiliate link, or worse, a shady broker. Duplication also breaks when your onboarding cannot name the broker or the trading server.
Adrian's advice: "You don't have to choose one thing and stick to it your whole life. Take small risks one at a time, and you will find something you can make even more money on. You can stack businesses."
Lessons you can apply
- Remove the sales resistance. A free product means clients start at zero, not in minus.
- Let clients own their results. Clear rules and risk management build a healthier relationship than selling.
- Focus on happy clients. Referrals come from people who feel helped.
- Stack, do not split. Rebates fit alongside an existing community without splitting focus.
- Stay compliant. Promote any way you like, as long as it follows the rules and is good for the client.
